At the 79th year of his life, actor Alexei Petrenko died suddenly. Death caught the artist on February 22. The details of the incident were not specified. What caused the death is unknown.

Recall that the Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, People's Artist of the RSFSR (1988), laureate of the State Prize of Russia (1999) Alexey Petrenko was born in 1938 in the village of Chemer, Chernigov Region (Ukraine). He mastered theatrical skills at the Kharkov Theater Institute.
Upon graduation, he served in theaters in Zaporozhye and Donetsk.
In 1964 he ended up at the Leningrad Lensovet Theater, where he was invited by Igor Vladimirov, and from 1977 he worked at the Moscow Drama Theater on Malaya Bronnaya.
Petrenko has a lot of prizes and awards on his account.
