Valeria Gai Germanika Will Shoot A Lyrical Comedy About Golden Youth

The eccentric director of the controversial TV series "School" Valery Gai Germanicus in the fall, he will begin filming a lyrical comedy about golden youth.

“In the near future I was going to start creating an existential drama and a gothic-mystical fairy tale, but for a while I decided to postpone these projects and work in a new directorial role for myself,” says Valeria.

A young Moscow writer inspired Valeria to shoot the comedy Alexandra Dementieva, who released her first book this year "Anti-Glamorous Divorce", which has already become a bestseller and entered the Top 20 best-selling books in Russia. It is interesting that at first Valeria, on the advice of a camera friend, read this book, and after that, at one creative get-together, she met its author.

“I told Lera about my new script for a feature film about the relationship between the children of Moscow businessmen,” says Alexandra. “It is worth saying that the life of golden youth is much more multifaceted than the stereotypes existing about it today. The VIP generation is my environment, so most of the events described in the scenario took place in real life. Lera literally caught fire with the idea of ​​making a comedy, she herself found sponsors, now she is conducting castings for actors.

Note that Valeria Gai Germanicus has always had a difficult relationship with the screenwriters. The demanding and tough director only during the filming of "School" changed four screenwriters, so it remains only to believe that the two girls will be able to find a common language in their work.
