Presentation Of The New Collection Alexander Terekhov

In Moscow, in the Museum of Architecture named after A. V. Shchuseva favorite of our stars Alexander Terekhov presented his new collection Alexander Terekhov spring-summer 2013.

Terekhov himself conditionally divides the new collection into two parts: in the first - the usual feminine chic, silk aristocratic dresses, a print in large polka dots in blue, light blue and dusty pink, suede coats and jackets. In the second - the contrast of moods and textures, inspired by the 80s: beauty, as the ability and courage to dress beautifully and brightly and present oneself as opposed to the passage of time.

The source of inspiration for the fashion designer was the carnation that appeared on new outfits. A rich print with a carnation - a bouquet tied with a ribbon or buds in bright scarlet and blue colors appears on cotton and silk dresses, shirts, trousers. Terekhov calls bulky shirts "sweatshirts" and decorates with large crystals. Sundresses are also actively present in the collection: with a clear structural silhouette, they are decorated with gold buttons. It is the sundresses with voluminous sleeves or straps, free cut and fitted, that emphasize the fragile female beauty, expose the neck and shoulders, making the image especially noble.

Cotton has become one of the main materials of the collection. The contrast of crystals with cotton looks bourgeois and at the same time light and non-trivial.

Shoes for the show were made in the workshops of Gianvito Rossi by a special order of Alexander Terekhov (Atelier Moscow).
