Lady Gaga Praises Madonna For Her Feminist Speech

58-year-old Madonna recently received an honorary title from Billboard magazine. The publication named the performer "Woman of the Year". Madonna was very moved by this and noted that her achievements would not have been without a huge army of fans who support her every minute.

The singer could not get around the topic of sexism towards women, with which she has been struggling for several years. Madonna stated that her work is what she uses to fight misogyny and the violation of women's rights.

"… In our world there are no rules if you are a boy, and hundreds of rules if you are a girl," Madonna said from the stage, adding that she cannot be called a good feminist, because she does not deny her sexuality and often uses it.

Another equally famous artist, Lady Gaga, decided to support her colleague in the fight for equality.

“You are so brave and strong. Thank you for being so for us girls, we need it,”she wrote in Stephanie's social networks.
