The X-Files creator intrigued fans. In an interview with NME reporters, Chris Carter admitted that he was ready to shoot not just a continuation of the TV story, but a whole full-length film, the script for which, as it turned out, he already had.
Carter noted that the only limiting factor in the creation of the continuation of "The X-Files" is the lack of permission from Fox, which, in fact, is engaged in production. "I'm waiting for Fox to ask me for more." Carter intrigued Mulder and Scully fans.
I must say that in addition to the series "The X-Files", Carter has two full-length films created on the basis of television history - "The X-Files: Fight for the Future" and "The X-Files: I Want to Believe." Both films were not very successful with the public, and therefore Carter should seriously consider whether it is worth starting work on a third film at all.
Recall that six episodes of the new season of "The X-Files" starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will start on Fox on January 24, 2016.
