Grief knocked on the house of Tom Cruise. At the 81st year of life, the mother of the actor Mary Lee South died. The women were gone last week. It is known that for some time before her death, Mary Lee was seriously ill.

Farewell to Mary Lee South was organized at the Church of Scientology, surrounded by family and loved ones. Tom attended the funeral with three of his sisters.

Recall that last year, the world media burst into headlines that the Hollywood actor had abandoned his dying mother, who is seriously ill.

Insiders claimed that the artist's relationship with his mother went wrong after the woman moved away from the Church of Scientology, of which Tom is an adherent. But back in 2009, Tom proudly brought his mother out - to the Golden Globe ceremony.

Inattention on the part of Cruise had to be experienced by his stepfather. Tom did not have time (apparently, not very much and was eager) to see his stepfather Joe South before the man died.

Note that Joe lived with Cruise's mother for 32 years, and Tom did not even appear at the funeral of the man who raised him. Shortly before his death, journalists asked Joe if his 53-year-old stepson was visiting. “No, we haven't seen him for a long time. I would not want to involve him in all this, but I can still take care of myself. Besides, he's too busy. I don't want to bother him,”he said and tried to justify Tom's absence.
