Soviet and Russian pop singer Valentina Legkostupova died back in August 2020, but relatives still do not come to a common decision on inheritance issues. Now it became known that another contender entered the fight for the inheritance - the singer's second husband, Alexei Grigoriev.
Initially, the widower - Yuri Firsov and daughter - Annette Bril claimed the property acquired by the artist Valentina Legkostupova. Now Alexey Grigoriev, the second husband of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and their father with Valentina, their son, 19-year-old Matvey Grigoriev, has joined this list.
Alexey Grigoriev decided to claim his share of the property with the artist after the divorce, which happened not so long ago.
“Alexey Grigoriev has filed a lawsuit to divide the jointly acquired property in marriage with Legkostupova. He has a completely legal right to do so, since the statute of limitations for such a requirement has not expired (according to the law, a period of three years after the divorce for filing such an application is set),”commented the lawyer of Anneta's daughter Bril.
According to some rumors, Alexey Grigoriev will apply for one of the artist's country houses, which they acquired together in a marriage in which they lived for more than 20 years.
