In June, Dwayne Johnson talked about his intention to make a film based on the popular video game Rampage of the late 1980s. In addition to Johnson, New Line was interested in the new project, as well as the actor's colleagues from the San Andreas Rift disaster, producer Beau Flynn and director Brad Payton.
At the moment, the idea of creating the film "Fury" is under discussion, but sources close to Duane say that he wants to start work on the film as early as next summer.
By the way, the name of the screenwriter has already been announced - Ryan Engle ("Air Marshal") will transform the plot of the video game into the movie. The main role in the film will obviously be played by Johnson himself.
Recall that the plot of the game is built around ordinary American citizens George, Lizzie and Ralph. After conducting scientific experiments on them, they mutated into huge monsters (respectively, into a gorilla, a lizard and a werewolf). Infuriated, they began to destroy American cities, and the government is doing its best to stop them.
