London Critics Handed Out Awards

Awards ceremony was held in London London Film Critics' Circle Awards - British film critics have named their winners. As always, the film celebrated its triumph "Artist": it was named the Film of the Year, Jean Dujardin won the prize as Actor of the Year, and Michelle Azanavicius was named Director of the Year. The title Actress of the Year was shared by two ladies at once: Meryl Streep for her role in the film "The Iron Lady" and Anna Paquin for the painting "Margaret". Supporting actor named Kenneth Branu for "7 Days and Nights with Marilyn", and the actress - Sarekh Bayat for "Divorce of Nader and Simin".

In addition to the general laureates, critics have chosen exclusively British ones. British Film of the Year was the picture "Something's Wrong with Kevin"… British Actor of the Year named Michael Fassbender, and the actress - Olivia Colman. Craig Roberts was named British Youngest Performer of the Year for his role in The Yellow Submarine. Asghar Farhadi won the Screenwriter of the Year Award for a Picture "Divorce of Nader and Simin" and the film itself was recognized as the Best Foreign Film of the Year.
