As you know, the visit of the Kardashian West family to Israel was not planned, but the couple could not deny themselves the opportunity to visit the Holy Land. Kim, Kanye and North arrived in Jerusalem, where the baby was baptized. A family spokesperson said 21-month-old North was baptized at Went James Cathedral, located in the Armenian quarter of Jerusalem.
Recently, exclusive photos from the baptism ceremony itself appeared on the network. In the picture we see Kim with North in her arms. Apparently, the baptism ceremony took a long time, which tired the baby and she fell asleep. By the way, Kim's younger sister, Khloe, became North's godmother. According to a family representative, Chloe has a special bond with North and does not like her niece.
“It was a wonderful experience for my family. Kanye and I are grateful for the honor,”Kim told People exclusively.
Recall that two weeks ago, Kim, Kanye, North and Chloe arrived in Armenia, Kim's homeland. There they met with fans and dignitaries (they, most likely, advised the couple to christen their daughter). On Thursday, April 9, on the day of the 100th anniversary of the genocide, the Armenians had a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.
Kim and her sister Chloe laid flowers at the monument to Mother Armenia and also visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan. On the last night of their stay in Armenia, Kanye gave a free concert on the shores of Swan Lake and at some point, to get closer to the fans, even jumped into the water. “It's such a crazy and exciting night! I am so happy to be here,”Kim wrote on her page a little later.
The next day, the couple rented a private jet and flew to Jerusalem for a special ceremony.
