Maddie Brown Brush shares the latest information on her little daughter's health, revealing that her foot and hand were amputated.

The reality star's 24-year-old wife shared the news on Instagram on Monday, posting a photo of Evangelinn's daughter Cody from the hospital. In the photo, the child's left leg and right arm are bandaged.

“Evie got some big gifts for her first birthday,” the reality star wrote on Instagram. “Her surgeon laid the foundation for her new foot and the mobility she will bring through Boyd's amputation. Another gave her additional mobility in her hand by cutting the membrane that was in her right hand."

Brush added that her little girl, who was diagnosed with oligodactyly, a congenital anomaly defined as having fewer than five fingers on her hand, before she was born, has returned home from the hospital and is “recovering well” from the procedures.

When Evangalinn was born, she also lacked a thumb and a leg, and one leg was missing a fibula (commonly known as calf bone) and had a curved tibia (tibia). Two of her fingers have grown together too.

Last October, Brush shared that she and her husband Caleb Brush were "shocked" by their daughter's diagnosis of fibular aplasia, tibial campomelia and oligosyndactyly syndrome (FATCO), an extremely rare genetic disorder that affects the formation of bone in the womb.

“I just sat and tried to understand what was going on, I just had a baby while they bring in all these specialists. I was terrified,”she said.

The family had to wait until Evangalinn was 1 year old to find out which is the best treatment tactic to choose, '' Brush said earlier.

Brush, who is also the mom of 3-year-old son Axel James, said at the time that her daughter would grow up with "constraints."

“It's not normal and it takes people by surprise, but I want her to grow up and be proud of herself,” she added of her daughter's condition. "If I hide it to protect her, is it really helpful?"

“So little is known about this, so I hope to get public attention,” added Brush.

Brush celebrated her daughter's first birthday on August 20 with a touching Instagram post.

"Happy 1st Birthday, my little ray of sunshine!" she wrote, sharing a photo of little Evangalinna smiling on the beach. "It's crazy how quickly this year has passed."
