Kanye West's creative plans were boycotted by netizens. Yesterday, the rapper announced his desire to record an album in memory of David Bowie, who passed away last week. But the musician's plans, apparently, are not destined to come true, unless Kanye wants to catch up with the wrath of a multi-million army of fans of the musical legend.
According to Western sources, Bowie fans are doing their best to prevent West from carrying out his plans and even wrote a petition in which they demanded that Kanye abandon his idea.
Will West listen to ordinary citizens - an open question. As far as we know, the rapper is already working in the studio, where he is considering recording covers for Bowie's songs "Changes", "Heroes" and "Rebel, Rebel", and is also going to use David's music, over which he will record his rap lyrics.
"Modest" as usual West declared that he considers himself the heir of David's work and decided to occupy his niche as a musical experimenter. "Kanye thinks Bowie gave him the torch of primacy." - said the insider.
Recall that David Bowie passed away on January 10 at his home in the presence of his family. The musician has already been cremated and buried, however, the place of the musician's last refuge is not reported to the general public.
