Witherspoon also shared a very interesting fact. The creation of a production company began with her love of reading. The actress reads a lot, more than three books in a week.
“My secret is very simple - I read a lot more than I watch TV. I have to read the book for at least 30 minutes a day. This is very important if you need to relax at the end of the working day. My husband and I often spend our free time in conversation. One day we started discussing the transition to premium television. And then I thought that it would be good to fall into this category. I just had to find some good material and break it down into six episodes. It was then that Nicole Kidman and I both read Big Little Lies at the same time. We phoned and decided that we need to do it together” - explained the actress.
Moreover, it was this series that showed Witherspoon what she should work on in the future. She had a desire to develop her own production company. So, in just one year, she shot three huge projects that have earned recognition all over the world: the sequel "Big Little Lies", "Morning Show", "Fires are smoldering everywhere."
