Harrison Ford's venerable age does not prevent him from working. The actor constantly proves that if you are young at heart, you can do anything. Once again, Mr. Ford will demonstrate his passion for acting on the set of the new "Indiana Jones", the release date of which was announced the day before.
Now Disney and Lucasfilm have announced that the premiere of Indiana Jones 5 will be postponed for a year - instead of 2019, the movie will be released on July 10, 2020, and in 3 days, on July 13, Harrison Ford will celebrate his 78th birthday.
Why the date of the premiere was changed and the film will be released with a delay of a year, no one specifies. Most likely, the creators of the picture simply do not have time to prepare for it. At the moment, it is known that the Indiana Jones-5 project has nothing: neither a ready-made script, nor a production start date.
We will remind, earlier in April of this year it was reported that the fifth "Indiana Jones" will not be a prequel to the whole story, as previously assumed, but will be a continuation of the previous series "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" (2008).
Frank Marshall, the producer of the franchise, admitted that in the future he hopes for several more adventure films about Jones, however, provided that no one except Harrison Ford will perform it.
“I don't think we will follow the James Bond path. Indiana Jones is an iconic character, and I can't imagine anyone other than Ford in his role. The same applies to the Jason Bourne franchise, on which we are also working now, "- said in the message.
