Princess Beatrice's Engagement Took Place

Princess Beatrice, 31, and her lover Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi decided not to postpone their engagement and held a celebration on December 18, 2019, as planned. The event took place in London, in one of the most prestigious restaurants in the capital. A week ago, the couple announced that they were canceling the engagement and postponing it to another date, due to the sex scandal around the father of the bride, Prince Andrew. The beloved feared that due to the increased attention to the prince, their important event could be threatened. They also didn't want a lot of press attention. Apparently they changed their minds and the engagement still took place.

Many celebrities came to congratulate the happy couple: Pippa Middleton and her husband, Robert de Niro, Ellie Golding, Sarah Ferguson, Ayda Field, James Blunt and others. Of course, Princess Beatrice's mother was present at the event, but Prince Andrew's father never showed up. Apparently, the man did not want to inconvenience his daughter and her future spouse. In total, few guests were invited to the party, only the closest and respected people. According to the list, there were about 30 individuals.
