Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will have a fun stocking tradition to enjoy this festive season.

“I believe that the best gift can be the one that will give the most pleasure and entertainment to children,” Kate Middleton's mom, Carol Middleton, wrote in an Instagram post for her company Party Pieces.

The grandmother also shed light on the holiday toys her own children used to play: Kate, the sister of Pippa Middleton, who is expecting her second child, and their younger brother, James Middleton, at their childhood home in Bucklebury, West Berkshire.

“I remember when they were little, my kids found such flexible shapes totally addictive,” Carol, 65, added in her post next to a picture of a wooden Santa with white sideburns, gold buttons and a traditional buckle belt.

The Flexible Santa is one of a line of inexpensive stocking fillers from Party Pieces that Carol installed at her kitchen table over 30 years ago. Others include things like miniature Christmas Funnels, Melting Snowman Putty, and Miniature Christmas Snow Globe with Reindeer.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is unlikely that Carol or Kate's father Michael Middleton will be able to see their royal grandchildren play with any of the gifts in person. Kate and Prince William also stated that they have not yet decided on their Christmas plans.

“It's so difficult. But we're still trying to make plans,”said William. "It's hard to figure out what to do better."
