Finally, congratulations to the happy couple! On Saturday, October 19, Jennifer Lawrence tied the knot with her fiancé Cooke Maroney in a star-befitting ceremony!
Jennifer Lawrence, 29, gave her hand and heart to art historian Cook Maroni in a spectacular ceremony on Saturday, October 19. The couple said, “I agree / agree,” surrounded by 150 guests at a romantic ceremony in stunning Newport, Rhode Island.
Jennifer was dressed in a lovely Dior gown that was perfect for this special day for her. The actress has long chosen this brand, so this choice of dress was obvious. Earlier last year, the star was announced as the face of the fashion house JOY.
Dior. She wore a dress of the same brand and was presented with the Oscar when she received it for Best Actress in 2013.
The couple held their wedding at Newport's luxurious Belcourt, which is a historic mansion in the coastal state. The magnificent house was built in 1894 by Richard Morris Hunt, a renowned architect inspired by Louis XIII's hunting house in Versailles, Francis. The house is currently owned by the CEO of the jewelry company Alex & Ani Carolyn Rafaelian, who has been restoring the residence since 2012.
Jennifer & Cook's guest list was star-studded. The ceremony was attended by such celebrities as Kris Jenner, Adele, Amy Schumer, Emma Stone and Ashley Olsen, Nicole Richie, Sienna Miller and couple Joel Madden and Cameron Diaz, they were also spotted on
rehearsal buffet on Friday night, which was before the main celebration.
Jennifer was more than ready for this momentous day. In the summer, Jennifer gave a candid interview with Katt Sadler, in which she said that she was very calm and reserved throughout the planning. In fact, when it came to
choosing a meeting place and her dress, Jennifer admitted that it was easy. “I saw a dress that I liked and I knew that I would wear it,” she said. “I saw the place for the ceremony and it suited me right away. There was no fuss, I knew what I wanted and
I understood that it would be so”.
The couple realized very quickly that they were made for each other. Jennifer started dating Cook in June 2018 and by February 2019 they were engaged!
