Unfortunately, the other day the whole farm was destroyed by a strong fire. The emergency became known thanks to the official statement of the farm administration on the social network Twitter.

“Our deepest gratitude is that not a single person or animal was harmed in this fire. Of course, we are now mourning the long years of our hard work, as well as wonderful memories within the walls of our camp” - goes in the statement.

The tragic incident came very unexpectedly, the fire spread quickly enough, so the employees reacted with great gratitude to the work of the firefighters. The service responded very quickly, so not a single living creature was harmed. The camp administration reports that it took a little over an hour to put out the fire. 6 fire trucks arrived at the facility, and 30 firefighters were sent to eliminate the fire. It would be possible to eliminate the outbreaks much faster if centralized water was installed on the farm. Unfortunately, it was not there, so the cars were filled with water from pre-selected tanks, this greatly slowed down the work of the rescuers. So far, the official cause of the fire has not been named. The camp administration also does not comment on this issue.

The American edition received a letter at its disposal, which was written by Jennifer Lawrence's brother, Blaine Lawrence. It is he who is the main owner and leader of Camp Hi-Ho. The man wrote these lines for the parents of children who visit their camp every year. In a letter, Blaine described the damage caused by the fire to his family farm. So, all the office premises, the covered area, where riding lessons were held in winter, burned down. Also partially damaged is the wildlife decoration exhibition, arts and crafts area. The first aid post was destroyed, as well as garages with agricultural tools.

Blaine Lawrence also said that he does not intend to give up, now a clear plan has already been drawn up to restore the farm and the camp in particular. He promises that Camp Hi-Ho will reopen its doors for children by the summer of 2021. Of course, a lot of money is needed to restore the camp, so Blaine asked for sponsorship from those who wanted to help. We are confident that actress Jennifer Lawrence will take part in the reconstruction of the family farm.
