Prince Louis is 2 years old - and he is now the same age as his older brother Prince George and older sister Princess Charlotte when they started school - but Louis is not fastening his backpack yet.

If Kate Middleton and Prince William's youngest child follows the path of their older siblings, Prince Louis is likely to go to daycare in January 2021 rather than the typical start of a new school year.

In January 2016, Prince George, now 7, went to kindergarten at Montessori Westacre School in Norfolk, a short drive from the Anmer Hall family home. Like many proud moms, Kate also took her first school photos of the kids on her first day in a blue backpack.

Princess Charlotte, now 5, was about the same age as her older brother when she began attending Willcocks Daycare in January 2018. Before heading to the kindergarten near the Kensington Palace family home in London, Kate photographed her. A royal source said at the time: "They chose this kindergarten because they thought it would be the perfect first step for Charlotte's education and were impressed by the team that works there."

It is likely that Prince Louis will also open a Preschool in Willcox, London, given that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are visiting Thomas Battersea nearby. Last year, Prince George and their parents accompanied Princess Charlotte on her first day at a new school. Both royal children were dressed in uniforms required by a private school with an annual income of $ 23,000.

“She can't wait to be with George at the big school,” an insider said earlier. "She's so excited about this whole event."

This milestone marked a very special moment for the family. When George started at the same school in 2017, Kate was unable to join him because she had severe morning sickness while pregnant with Prince Louis.

Like families around the world, Cambridge has had to adapt to distance learning amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Keith revealed during a virtual appearance on ITV's This Morning in May that it was not easy to get George involved in his high school work when he compared Charlotte's “cooler” assignments.

“We're stuck with homeschooling again,” Keith said. - George gets very upset because he just wants to do all of Charlotte's projects. Spider sandwiches are much cooler than literacy jobs!"

Even before officially entering the school, Prince Louis is engaged in some of his own projects. In honor of her second birthday in April, Kate shared photos of her youngest son painting colorful pictures in support of National Health Service (NHS) staff and other important workers fighting the coronavirus pandemic across the country.
