Video: Donald Trump Arrives In New York For The First Time Since Leaving The White House On January 20

Donald Trump received less than welcomed local delight after returning to New York on his first trip the day he left the Oval Office. Protesters stood in front of the balloon caricature and held signs that read “Blame Trump” near Trump Tower
Although former President Donald Trump now legally calls Florida his home, the New Yorker returned to the Big Apple on March 7, for the first time since leaving the White House on January 20. It is not yet clear what caused the visit of the 74-year-old man. He returned to what he literally called home his entire life before moving to Washington DC, but was not warmly welcomed. About a dozen protesters stood in front of Trump Tower on March 8, demanding his arrest, along with a giant cartoon ball depicting Trump with a double chin, small arms, huge ears and for some reason upturned front teeth.

Protesters stood in front of a large banner reading “Trump Arrest,” as Manhattan's District Attorney's Office is currently investigating tax and banking fraud. District attorney Cyrus Vance and his team of prosecutors have been investigating Trump's financial affairs for over two years. Others held posters demanding "Blame Trump."
One man held a sign that read "Go Home, Florida Boy" when Trump changed his legal address to his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, in the fall of 2019. He claimed to have paid millions in taxes on the city and state of New York, and the place did not deserve some of his income after the New York political machine turned against Trump as president.
“1600 Pennsylvania Avenue White House is a place that I loved and will stay for hopefully another 5 years while we MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, but my family and I will make Palm Beach, Florida, our permanent home. I cherish New York and its people and will always love them, but unfortunately, despite the fact that I pay millions of dollars in city, state and local taxes every year, the political leaders of both states of the country treated me very badly. Few have been treated so badly,”Trump tweeted on November 1, 2019.
