47-year-old American actress Selma Blair continues to delight fans with her willpower. A year ago, doctors diagnosed Selma with a disappointing diagnosis - multiple sclerosis, but the woman did not lose heart, she fulfills all the requirements of doctors, is not afraid of anything, and most importantly, she leads an everyday life.
For example, yesterday, October 2, the paparazzi spotted Selma with his girlfriend while walking the streets of Los Angeles. The girls were merrily discussing something, went on the way to a cafe, where they bought themselves ice cream. Previously, due to great weakness in the legs, the actress had to move around with a stick or other foreign objects. Now she looked as happy as possible and walked confidently without any available means.
And a week ago, the actress herself, on her page on the social network Instagram, posted a photo where she is sitting on a catamaran with her son Arthur. She happily informed her subscribers that this entertainment in the park is the most favorite for their family, and is even a tradition.
Selma received the last chemotherapy course at the end of July, after which she completely lost her hair. While still in the hospital, after a difficult procedure, the actress took a photo and posted it on the network. The caption to the photo was very emotional: “Today is a great day! I am being discharged from the hospital where I have been under the incredible care of nurses, staff, and a doctor who believes in my healing just as much as I do. For the next three months, my immune system will be severely weakened. So please, no kisses. I thank you for your support and love. Now I see everything much more clearly and will share my story as soon as I am ready. But at the moment I am going through the recovery stage. Until! This is the best gift I can give to Arthur."
Recall that Blair learned about her illness more than a year ago. Then she developed symptoms such as short-term memory loss, severe weakness in the legs, nausea, anxiety attacks and problems with coordination of movements. She began intensive treatment, due to which she is temporarily unable to continue her career. The worst thing for her is that while she cannot do her favorite pastime - horse riding.
