The heroine of the new edition of Entertainment Weekly is the star of the series "Grey's Anatomy" Ellen Pompeo, which has recently been left without her eternal companion - movie lover Derek Shepard (played by Patrick Dempsey). In an interview with the publication, the actress admitted that the public's doubts about whether the series could exist without him hit her pride hard. But the photo shoot for the cover of the edition turned out to be very spicy. The stylists did not bother with the selection of clothes and left Ellen only a robe, a phonendoscope and red shoes.
“For some reason, everyone is sure that Meredith Gray definitely needs a man. Why can't I be the one and only to keep the show going? The fans' doubts that the series will last a long time now that Patrick has left the project hits my ego,”the actress complains.
Recall that the news of the departure of one of the main characters from the series, beloved by millions of viewers, caused a storm of indignation. While producer Shonda Rhimes came up with intelligible answers to the demands of fans to return the hero, Patrick Dempsey simply kept silent. Naturally, huge boulders flew into Rhonda's garden out of anger and disappointment from fans. The latter threatened to collapse the ratings of the series, refusing to view it if Derek Shepard was not returned, and some fans with developed imagination even wrote plot versions according to which the deceased doctor could appear in the frame again. But Rhimes was adamant, and Pompeo was left in splendid isolation.
